Why did I start this petition?

I started this petition because there is no need for radical, heavy-handed hardware or software blocks and restrictions.

Does it make sense for device batteries to be easily removable?

No, by removing the battery, it becomes effectively impossible to locate the devices.

Is the DMA reducing unfair competition?

No, the choice remains the same, both before and after the DMA; in fact, because of the DMA, iPhone sales have actually increased even more, due to the issue of certain features being blocked.
